Placing Pictures On Digital Frames

Digital picture frames are great – but they are no good to you if you have no idea how to use them. One of the most basic things you need to know is how to get your pictures into the frame itself. While at first it may seem a complicated process it is actually fairly easy. Even the most basic person who knows nothing about computers can easily do it themselves.

There are literally dozens of different digital picture frames on the market and each of them can work differently from the other. However, most of them may require that you connect a USB flash drive directly into the frame to upload the pictures this way. This makes it easy for them to be transferred and stored without losing them.

What you will need to do is to download all of the desired pictures onto your USB flash drive – which should already be plugged into your computer. Once you have completed this you can plug the USB into your digital picture frame. Some required that they be turned off before you plug it in. You can turn it back on once the USB is secured.

The first thing that you should see is a blue screen that says “internal memory”. On your computer you will see a button that says “start”. click “start” and then “add pictures”.

You may need to optimize a few of the photos to make sure that they are properly sized to match the frame’s width and height. Some digital frames will do this on their own – but a few of the more cheaper brands will require you to do it yourself. You can use special programs on your computer that are specifically used for digital pictures.

All of the pictures you place on the frame will be saved to it and also on your computer. Some require that the USB stay inside the frame in order for the pictures to appear. However, some of the newer models allow you to disconnect the USB so that it is not in the way. Those that requier the USB flash drive to stay inside will often make room for it to be hidden. While it it on the wall it will be hidden away from view.
